Meaford Long Term Care Centre

Meaford Long Term Care Centre is a 77 bed, long term care home, inspected and licensed annually by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Meaford Long Term Care Centre provides nursing and personal care in a 24 hour basis. Our compassionate team includes registered nurses, registered practical nurses, personal support workers, activity and therapy staff, a social worker, as well as, dietary, laundry and housekeeping staff committed to supporting and caring for our residents. Staff are provided leadership and guidance from an experienced administrative team. What makes Meaford Long Term Care unique is this is "a place to call home".

The home is separated into three areas (Unit 1 a, Unit 1 b, and Unit 2), which are all conveniently on one level and easily accessible to all. There are several comfortable lounge areas with televisions for resident's use. We also have outdoor patios and accessible gardens on both units.

We have been owned and operated by the same Board of Directors since 1980. We have approximately 90 staff and the majority of them have been a part of our team for over 15 years, several whom have entrusted their loved one to come and live at Meaford Long Term Care Centre. We also have approximately 80 volunteers and they provide a tremendous assistance to our residents.
